Youth and Young Adult Pastor

We are seeking a Youth & Young Adult Pastor to provide leadership and care to our church’s youth & young adult ministry. The Youth & Young Adult Pastor will be responsible for fostering spiritual growth, planning and leading activities, and providing guidance to young people in our church. The successful candidate is a committed Christian who is passionate about helping young people grow in their faith.

Youth & Young Adult Pastor Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive youth/young adult ministry programming, including weekly meetings, retreats, and service projects in alignment with our churches vision.
• Lead and teach youth/young adult group meetings and Bible studies Mentor and disciple young people
• Work with parents and other adults to ensure youth/young adults are involved in healthy and meaningful activities
• Provide pastoral care and support to youth, young adults and their families
• Create and maintain relationships with outside organizations and individuals to facilitate programs
• Develop and manage the youth/young adult ministry budget

Youth & Young Adult Pastor Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in youth ministry preferred
• A deep knowledge of the Bible and Christian theology
• Able to effectively communicate with young people, adults, and families
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
• A passion for helping young people grow in their faith
